Fiber Art Wall hanging "Forest"

This contemporary and abstract fiber art wall hanging is called "Forest". It is suitable for any modern style of living, where people value a simple artistic touch to be part of their homes. It fits into many different spaces - from the dining room to the living space. Due to its theme, it is mostly suitable for houses next to nature or forests. At the same time, this abstract design leaves the theme open to the viewer. 
In most of my work, I find inspiration from nature, especially from all the textures and surfaces found in nature. This work was inspired by the feelings that being in nature can create.
This modern wall art is hand-felted using the wet felting technique with extra fine merino wool, yarn, silk fabric, and natural fiber. The free-hand embroidery has been added to the surface. My favorite medium at the moment is felting, because it allows me to experiment with surface design ideas. 
As a textile artist, I love to experiment with fiber to create contemporary dimensional artwork. This is the reason I chose fiber over the paint. This is also a reason why this artwork is unique and will add plenty of character to your living space.
