Textured Wall Hanging "Lichen I"

It is an abstract and extremely textured wall hanging, which is inspired by the surfaces found in nature, in this case particularly lichen. At the same time this abstract design leaves the theme open to the viewer.

This modern wall art is hand felted using wet felting technique with extra fine merino wool, silk fabric and natural fiber. My favourite medium at the moment is felting, because it allows me to experiment with surface design ideas. I have hand dyed and rust dyed some silk fabric used in the process to create these lovely natural shades of greens and copper.
The size of this work is 27.5 x 43.5 inches (70 x 110 cm) and it is on the wooden frame which is 1 inch thick (2,5 cm). It has got hooks for hanging solutions. It can be hung in both vertical or horizontal way.RETURN & REFUND POLICY</
