Fiber Art Wall Hanging "Melting I"
This is an abstract fiber art wall hanging called "Melting I". It was born in late 2023.
The inspiration for this wall hanging came from the seasonal processes happening in nature. Nature with its changing seasons can teach us valuable lessons and give us hope that every situation will be solved as certainly as spring arrives after winter. The artwork symbolises the colors and textures around winter season here in my homeland. The water turns into ice, then starts melting and frosts again.. Everything is always moving, never to be fully stopped.
As a fiber artist I love to experiment with natural fiber to create more modern dimensional artwork and I am passionate about natural materials used in my artwork. While living and working in my countryside studio and having small flock of my own fiber animals (sheep, angora goats and rabbits) my work supports sustainable living principles.
Wool has got many amazing qualilites and despites of colors used in this artwork, it creates often a cozy and warm feeling in your interior design. Woollen panels are also used to absorb sounds and noise. Wool is also an eco-friendly and biodegradable material and using wool in artwork aligns with a focus on eco-conscious practices. I have also used leftover felt strips from a local factory for finishing touches and I have used some handspun angora goat yarn and other leftover yarns for decoration purposes.This wall hanging can be sold and presented together with the pairing wall hanging "Melting II".
PRODUCT INFO
This is handmade wet felted abstract and textured wall hanging using extra fine merino wool, silk fabrics and natural fibre. I have also used factory leftover felt strips, handspun angora goat fiber and other yarns for decoration purposes.
This artwork measures 60x100 cm (24x40``) and has got hooks for a hanging solutions.
RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are not happy with your ordered item, please contact me. You may return or exchange the item within 7 days. Returned items are refunded only if they arrive back in the same condition that they were posted out to the customer. The postage for the returned item is not refundable, so buyer will have to pay for the postage fee back to me. Please contact me and we will find the way to solve the problem

It normally takes 1-3 business days to post out the order after the payment has been received.
Shipping times are approximately following:Europe - up to 7 days
Rest of the world - up to 14 days.
All orders to Europe will be sent with the DPD courier, others with the most suitable courier available at the time of the order. Smaller items can also be sent via postboxes or national postal services.
